Lotus Esprit V8

This time we had an opportunity to protect the lacquer in this classic sports car. The Lotus arrives at our workshop six weeks after re-spraying in the original color. Our job was to install PPF onto the freshly painted car in the most vulnerable areas.

Lotus, however, doesn’t look but, it’s a challenging car. Firstly we protect wing mirrors, side skirts, and rear wheel arches. Secondly, we move to the bonnet, and finally, to the formidable front. The front end is one piece, includes the bumper and wings. For an aesthetic reason, we apply 5 meters of material going along the full bumper and two 90 degrees curves without any cut lines. However, not easy but achievable!

The Paint Protection Film job is to protect the lacquer from stone chips, UV light, and self-healing abilities do magic to scratches and swirls, leaving the paint glossy and shiny. The Lotus is not fully protected.
